The match up of the description with the diagram illustrating what is being described could have been done better, also there were a few misprints with numbering of wiring. It seems this book wasn't checked for errors, if you not experienced in the field, you will get confused in some small areas, but all in all a "Must Have".
Heavy on maintenance, showing what to look for when servicing a starter. Light on wiring diagrams and troubleshooting. If your job is to maintain starters and motor controls, then this book is for you. However, if your job is to troubleshoot these things, then you will get very little from this book.
Was able to increase my knowledge and it also held my attention. Great reference guide to call on if assistance is needed.
Good clear pictures
It's more of a history of starters. Very interesting! Anyone who trouble shoots motors and starters will have seen some of this stuff, and it's becoming a speciality. I will keep this book in my iPad for easy reference. Thanks L.W!
